Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) recently completed a procurement process to identify Consultants to support their “Support for Communities Framework” A consortium of Caithness companies have been awarded a place on the framework.
The Framework allows community organisations and social enterprises to access a range of direct hands-on resources that can be used to either provide skill sets that are not currently available within these organisations / enterprises or to secure the timely delivery of an opportunity.
The procurement process resulted in eight Consultants being awarded a place on the Framework including
Caithness based, M2 Procurement & Commercial Services (M2PCS) who led a consortium of companies based in Caithness, Orkney, and Inverness. The other Caithness based companies are Atlantic Consultants, Riad & Fraser, Middlemas Management and Navertech.
Mike Muir, M2PCS’s Managing Director said that “M2PCS is delighted to be awarded an Agreement and is a significant step forward as we attempt to break into new markets. We look forward to supporting HIE, community organisations and social enterprises across the Highlands and Islands in the development of opportunities that will hopefully have a significant impact on the local and regional economy of the area.”
